Enjoy a peaceful stroll at South Carolina's Brookgreen Gardens.
Brookgreen Gardens is located in eastern South Carolina, a short distance south of Myrtle Beach. It encompasses over 9,000 acres of land filled with natural beauty and figurative sculptures from talented American artists. You will see hundreds of old-growth oak trees (dating back to the 1700s), a butterfly garden, a sculpture garden, and fountains as you explore this place. Thousands of blooming plants bring a stunning sight year-round. Visitors love the various roses, hydrangeas, azaleas, petunias, begonias, lilies, snapdragons, and other flora and fauna.
There are two picnic areas where guests can bring a cold meal to sit and eat. There is also an on-site restaurant if you'd rather eat inside. Admission rates are $20 for adults (ages 13 - 64), $18 for seniors, $10 for children (ages 4 - 12), and free for children up to age 3. Your ticket is good for 7 consecutive days and includes all the gardens, art galleries, Lowcountry Zoo, and the Lowcountry History Center. RV parking is available here. Please note that pets are not allowed at Brookgreen Gardens, but service animals are always welcome.
