Boston Children's Museum is an amazing place to visit because children can experience science, world culture, art, health, and the environment in interactive ways. Learning by doing makes it easier to remember, so it is the perfect place to spend several hours and surely get their energy out. The museum is a field leader in ensuring that the exhibits are educational and innovative and have been doing so for 100 years. Boston Children's Museum was the first to design a space just for young children. Many other museums all around the world have replicated them for other children to experience and enjoy.

This place is the second oldest children's museum in the United States. Countless children over the years have learned about science, health, arts, culture, and the environment from joining the activities that this museum offers. The fun, hands-on exhibits are best for children 11 years old and younger, with a special area for toddlers. Parents also enjoy the experiences by watching the children play and joining in on all the fun with them.  There are 2 separate sessions available Wednesday - Saturday, 9 am - 12 pm, and 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm. You can also visit on Sunday from 9 am - 12 pm and 1:30 - 4:30 pm.
